North of Tyne Investment – Equity

Through the North of Tyne Culture and Creative Investment Programme, funded by the North of Tyne Combined Authority, we are investing £625k of equity finance in the North of Tyne’s cultural and creative industries.  

 We are looking for commercially viable, growth-minded businesses that are innovative, operate in the creative and cultural sector, and able to deliver meaningful impact in the region. 

Our equity offer

Our equity offer:

  • Equity investments of £50,000 – £100,000, up to 50% of a wider funding round
  • No management fees
Who is eligible?

The criteria for applying for investment is that businesses should be:  

  • based in the North of Tyne (Newcastle, North Tyneside, and Northumberland)  
  • operating in the cultural or creative industries  
  • looking for investment towards activity that meets the aims of the programme  
  • able to provide an investment deck with a compelling return on investment proposition
