Leeds Creative Skills Festival

The Leeds Creative Skills Festival highlights the exciting and diverse range of opportunities in the creative and cultural industries. The festival takes place 14–18 November with a showcase event at the Leeds first direct arena on 17 November.

Engage with young people and help with careers resources. Find out about support available to employers including freelancers such as help with recruiting apprenticeships and access to funding and training.

Like Flying – National Theatre of Scotland

LIKE FLYING is a creative, transformative project to enable young people to reach their potential, increase their wellbeing and build resilience. The project invites 13 to 14-year-olds to learn aerial performance methods over a three-week residency, led by artist Nic Green resulting in a final performance within their school. The project is taking place in four Scottish local authority areas in 2022/23 engaging 120+ young people.

British Council – Current opportunities

New opportunities are now open for applications with the British Council’s global Creative Economy programme. They are looking for consultants, organisations and researchers to work with them on projects in Turkey, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Kuwait and Mexico.

Keychange Participant Programme 2023 – Open Call

Keychange supports women and gender minority artists and innovators to take part in an extensive talent development programme of showcases, panels, workshops, mentoring and creative sessions. The year-long programme takes place at 13 festivals across Europe and Canada, including 2 full network meet-ups in February and September. As well as exporting opportunities, the Keychange talent development programme helps participants to get to the next stage in their career through targeted training.

Help to Grow: Management Programme for business leaders

London College of Fashion

The Fashion Business School is offering a new subsided programme for senior managers of small and medium-sized businesses looking to reach the next level, increase productivity and grow revenue. The programme is 90% government funded for eligible UK companies, involving 12 weeks of executive learning to fit around your working week, a network of nationwide alumni group, and 1:1 mentor support.
