Sister Motion

For the creative production house Sister Motion, film will always be their first love. With a nuanced, female-centric stance, whether it’s a cinema ad with an editorial feel for No7, or light-hearted educational content for period-product company Dame, the team is carving out a space for themselves, providing tailored content and design services for brands looking to engage authentically with female audiences.

Alongside their client work, Sister Motion aims to help close the gender gap in the industry by mentoring and creating opportunities for women and underrepresented production talent. With the tagline ‘driven by difference,’ the team champions diverse perspectives, challenging traditional stereotypes by representing a more accurate portrayal of women and minority groups in advertising and marketing. Founded by Nicky Woodhouse and Claire Brown, who have enjoyed 25 years of diverse industry experience, Sister Motion collaborates with prominent brands, businesses, and charities, including Unilever, Surfing England, Festival of the Girl, and Mumsnet.
