Creative England teamed up with the University of Plymouth and partners to deliver EPIC (e-Health Productivity and Innovation in Cornwall), a three year collaborative project to improve the use of technology in health and social care in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. The project was partly funded by the European Regional Development Fund with additional support from the South West Academic Health Science Network.
Throughout the project, Creative England assisted over one hundred small businesses with sector specific business support using experienced advisors, webinars, workshops and one-to-one coaching.
In addition to business support, Creative England managed a £600,000 Challenge Fund which around 40 businesses looking to engage in the digital health market were successful in applying for.
