Exploring the Impact of Technology on the Performance Sector: Growth or Temporary Trend?

Hosted by Creative UK North East as part of TechNExt, this free event, held at Dance City, delved into the intersection of technology, enhancement, and growth in the performance sector.

The event was compered by Helena Hill and featured informative talks by the Creative UK North East team and Creative Fuse. Additionally, an insightful industry panel discussion took place, exploring the long-term implications of technology on the performance sector.

Our audience was captivated by thrilling performances, including an improvisational dance routine by Southpaw Dance Company and an awe-inspiring, choreographed act by Tanya Oxbury, who utilise laser wands and pixel poi.

The event culminated with a fantastic networking opportunity, complete with free nibbles and beer from Big River Bakery!

The Creative UK North East Social was part of TechNExt, a prestigious tech festival that celebrates the thriving tech landscape of the North East region. This festival brings together local businesses, stakeholders, and tech enthusiasts, fostering collaboration and innovation to shape the future of our industry.
