Unlocking Crowdfunding Success: Strategies and Techniques

Join us for an insightful session on mastering the art of crowdfunding, where we’ll delve into effective strategies for success.

Crowdfunding is a short-form online fundraising exercise typically run over a 4 week period, seeking financial support from a wide variety of sources. This process involves crafting a compelling narrative on a dedicated page, cultivating a targeted supporter network, and devising a robust marketing plan for sustained campaign visibility.

In this session we’ll be looking at ‘donation and rewards based crowdfunding’. This means that people who like what you’re doing can support you by donating but to encourage your audience to pledge more, you can incentivise them by offering a variety of products and services (the rewards) they can receive in return.

Crowdfunding is more than just financial backing. It also provides businesses with a platform to:

  • Share their narrative
  • Develop new content
  • Test new marketing approaches
  • Engage with existing audiences and expand networks
  • Explore new revenue streams through diverse reward offerings

What to expect from the workshop:

  • What is crowdfunding and how it works
  • Examples of successful campaigns
  • The three key steps of planning, creating and running a campaign
  • Planning: Identifying your audience
  • Creating: Designing your pitch
  • Running: Marketing your campaign
  • Helpful tips on how to use AI as a crowdfunding tool

This interactive workshop will feature practical exercises to equip you with the knowledge and skills to navigate the crowdfunding landscape and its applicability to your business.
