In Central Belt Scotland, a concerned father stages a violent home invasion, to frighten a visiting relative into cutting their stay short.

Leanne and Scott, a young middle-class couple living in the Central Belt of Scotland, are in the process of adopting another child. Their world is turned upside down when Leanne’s father is accused of chatting to kids online and subsequently beaten up. The couple have no option but to invite him to come and live with them for his own protection.

Sean Dunn (Writer/Director)

Sean Dunn is a writer, director, and producer, whose films have screened at film festivals such as Locarno, BFI London, Sundance, Zagreb and Chicago International Film Festivals.
He is a BAFTA Los Angeles scholar and recipient of the Milos Foreman Award for Directing. His graduate film from Columbia University won the best film prize at Columbia’s thesis showcase, as well as winning Best International short at the Valladolid International Film Festival, Best Film at the British Short Film Festival in Berlin, Special Mention at Zagreb International Film Festival, as well as being nominated for the Pardino d’oro for the Best International Short Film at Locarno.

Producing Sean’s lastest film, the BFI Network’s recent Pick of the Month BRITISH BY THE GRACE OF GOD, Alex Polunin is a BAFTA Newcomer, and one of this year’s SIDF Future Producers, who has a background working with Oscar-, BAFTA- and Emmy-recognised talent across projects in development and production with the BBC, ITV Studios, Film4, Working Title/NBC Universal, All3Media and Discovery in both the UK and the US.
