Creative Minds: How to use your IP as a Growth Enabler

Join us for this fully funded, two-day course to discover how to use your intellectual property effectively as a growth enabler. For creatives, our ideas, products, and services can build Intellectual Property, a unique resource, which if managed effectively not only generates growth and sustainability, but can ultimately empower your creative output.

When:
Tuesday 5 December, 2023 9am – 5pm
Wednesday 6 December, 2023 9am – 5pm

Where:
The Common Room, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 1SE

To most people, IP seems to be the territory of lawyers and attorneys, but nothing could be further from the truth. Intellectual property is all about creativity. Whether you are an artist, a film maker, designer, writer, game developer or potter, you own IP.

The course explores how the ideas at the core your business can be used as a catalyst for growth. It features a series of talks, led by creative sector innovation and growth expert Erica Wolfe-Murray and workshops for participants to learn the art of managing your IP in a way that is creatively and commercially impactful.

Selected founders will also have the opportunity to take advantage of further support through bespoke mentoring from course leaders.

Spaces are limited to just 12 company founders, and we encourage you to apply early to secure your place. Please check programme eligibility criteria before you apply. A full agenda will be published shortly. For more information or any questions, please contact northeast@wearecreative.uk.
