A core focus of North East Create Growth Programme is supporting founders in planning for and securing investment to enable growth. As part of this, we have created an intensive development course for a cohort of up to 20 ambitious business founders.
What’s involved?
The 6-month intensive development course will take each founder through a process of assessing their business, defining their growth plan, identifying investment goals, and connecting with investors. This will be delivered through a series of mentor 1-2-1’s, peer group sessions and investor roundtables.
Who is this for?
The programme is for founders of creative businesses who have growth ambition and want to explore investment options as part of achieving this.
What will I get out of it?
It’s expected founders will commit 2 days per month towards the programme and by the end of it, you will have produced a cohesive and tested investment proposal which aligns with your growth plan.
When does it start?
Shortlisted businesses will be invited to an investment diagnostic over Spring 2023 and is expected the final cohort will be selected late spring early summer.
Eligibility
Investment Bootcamp is open to founders of creative companies who;
- have a registered business on companies house;
- are based in the North East and the following regions: Newcastle, Sunderland, Durham, North-Tyneside, South-Tyneside, Gateshead and Northumberland.
- are operating across the creative industries, within, but not limited to, the following sectors: technology, design, music, marketing, software, games, film, TV, publishing, crafts, performing arts, architecture and museums and galleries.
