Introducing the West Yorkshire Create Growth Programme Stage 1 cohort

The new West Yorkshire Create Growth Programme Stage 1 cohort have met for their first workshop as they embark on a three-month journey of business growth.

Held at The Granary in Leeds, the day kicked off with an introduction from programme manager Helen Parker, who talked the cohort through what to expect over the coming months.

Coach Melissa Webster brought a jolt of energy to the morning with introductions, bringing the room together for fast-paced elevator pitches.

Programme alumni Mark Bradley, founder of Wild North Productions, joined to share his experience of the programme and his working relationship with coach Melissa, answering questions from the group on how to make the most of the opportunities afforded by being on the Create Growth Programme.

The day was rounded off with a session by Cath Ellington, focusing on how a founder’s vision and values shape the business and its direction for growth.

The businesses will now begin their three-month business support programme, aided by coaching sessions.
