Creative Enterprise alumni join the Creative Coalition Festival 2023 line-up

Over the last five years, Creative Enterprise has been instrumental in offering the best-in-class business support programmes and funding for screen-based businesses in the English regions outside of London. We’ve supported over 300 businesses in the film, tv, games, immersive and creative tech industries, with intensive programmes targeting various levels of growth. A number of these beneficiaries, who have now become friends of Creative UK, are being invited back to speak at this year’s Creative Coalition Festival. Appearing in the virtual programme, they will share knowledge, inspiration and topics close to their heart in three engaging sessions curated by our Creative Enterprise team.

The first up is Grace & Harry Chadwick, the founders of Interflix. Grace and Harry were part of our Evolve cohort in 20/21 and are currently also part of Creative Enterprise Market Trader cohort.  During the festival, the siblings will explore the question: what are the benefits of giving film audiences choice? Having recently completed production on a major interactive feature film, set for release on all major gaming consoles in Spring 2023, viewers are invited to learn from their experiences and inspect the future of interactive filmmaking as they delve deeper into the benefits of branching storytelling. Tune in to their Live Action Game: Where Film Meets Gamification session on Thursday 2 March at 12:00.

A second session will be presented by Sara Gibbings (Troy TV) and Jo Southwell (Aston Productions & Management). Both Sara and Jo are part of our amazing Female Founders Network, and are going to discuss the ups and downs of joining forces to pursue commissions and funding from the national and international markets. With a shared slate of Original IP but each company bringing unique knowledge and skills to the table, is this a recipe for the future to scale up? Catch their session, Two Heads are Better than One, on Thursday 2 March at 14:00.

For the final session in Creative Enterprise’s series, we’re joined by Leroy Kincaide of Nocturnal Pictures, a production company that is currently participating in the Evolve programme (as well as being an alumnus of Market Trader and TV & Film Foundations). On Friday 3 March at 15:00, Leroy will share his trials and tribulations of staying true to your vision during a creative process in Believing Your Vision.
