Creative UK is excited to welcome Keaze to its investment portfolio, having invested £350,000 into the affordable property portal through the Creative Growth Finance fund.

Keaze was founded in 2017 by Owen Thomas and has grown to become the market leader in the provision of marketing and sales automation technology to the affordable housing sector. Its dedicated online portal serves more than 100,000 home-seekers and over 200 Housing Associations and private property developers.

Having recently complemented its offer by adding a set of software solutions that will support automation of the sales process, Keaze sought investment from Creative Growth Finance to help it to expand its proposition and provide additional support for its customer base.

Owen Thomas, Founder and CEO, Keaze commented:

The funding we have received from Creative UK’s Creative Growth Finance fund will help us roll out our new software platforms faster, supporting and expediting our plans for growth.

Our ambition at Keaze is to streamline and simplify the buying process for the affordable housing sector, using our technology and our long-standing industry expertise we are strongly placed to make a lasting change for good.

We are passionate about solving the problems buyers face when searching and applying for new homes and offering better efficiencies for the housing providers. The market we serve is incredibly complex but yet poorly served by technology, leaving buyers confused and demotivated to pursue the help they require.”

Gab Nardo, Investment Manager, Creative UK, said:

“Keaze is a great example of the type of opportunity we like pursuing. The company operates in a market underpinned by strong long-term fundamentals, and plagued by a high degree of regulatory-driven complexity which creates a crying need for simplification and automation. Within this context, Keaze managed to achieve a dominant and defendable position in a remarkably short period of time and is now greatly placed to grow by expanding the services it offers to its well-established customer base.

Besides market opportunity and positioning, there is also a strong founder with a successful track record spanning across multiple fields, a co-investor specialised in scaling SaaS businesses, and a strong management team with many years of first-hand experience in the underlying sector. We look forward to supporting Keaze in maximizing its potential.”
