Nadine Dorries and Keir Starmer are to address Creative Coalition Festival 2022

  • Both announced as headline speakers for the festival, with the Leader of the Opposition giving a keynote speech following the Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport’s welcoming address to open the festival 
  • Further newly announced festival speakers and performers include Jo Johnson, Vanessa Kisuule, Fehinti Balogun and KIMMYBEATBOX 

Creative UK has today announced that the Rt Hon Nadine Dorries MP, the Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, and the Rt Hon Keir Starmer MP, the Leader of the Opposition, are to address Creative Coalition Festival 2022 during the three-day celebration of the UK’s Creative Industries. 

The festival begins on 1 February 2022 with a welcoming address from the Secretary of State, introduced by Creative UK Chief Executive Caroline Norbury MBE and TV and Radio Presenter Swarzy, who hosts the opening day. 

To end Day Two of the festival on 2 February 2022, Keir Starmer will deliver a keynote speech outlining his vision for the UK’s creative sector.

Their appearances further underline the power of the festival as a forum for addressing the issues, challenges and opportunities facing the creative sector, bringing together diverse voices from across industry and politics to drive change.”
