Hosted by a location-sensitive, interactive digital canvas, Nautoguide can translate, capture, manage and publish complex data in simple and effective ways. Right now, the Nautoguide team is at the forefront of helping establish a high-tech presence in Brixham, using new technologies to promote local industry and grow the travel economy.
Nautoguide recently won a funding bid to develop Roamie, a digital platform conceived to map and showcase destinations. Roamie is an AI avatar that wanders freely around a place you’re keen to visit and reports back its experiences. These can include insights on eateries, weather, local news, places of interest, local history and culturally tailored signposting. Nautoguide designed Roamie as a digital travel companion, able to explore on your behalf and discover new places, facts, and experiences.
With the technology components already in place and prototype work underway, Nautoguide will have Geovey demonstrable in Q1 2025. The team is working on partnerships to help them develop the concept into iterations that solve big problems in different industries, from educational bodies to charities and tourist destinations to product manufacturers. They are seeking seed investment to strengthen the team and grow the platform, including, designers, developers and sales and marketing specialists. Nautoguide is determined to put Brixham on the map as a beating heart in the high-technology geospatial landscape.
