Here, Szabotage rapidly gained a following, captivating audience with a string of sold-out exhibitions and compelling solo shows, collaborating with iconic brands like Prada and Louis Vuitton, blending high fashion with high art. Currently, Szabotage’s creations burst with vibrant colours and references from pop culture, forming a striking visual language that resonates with energy and impact. Every piece goes beyond storytelling, encouraging viewers to engage with the world through his distinct perspective, blending today’s urban environment with playful cultural insights.
Szabotage has significantly expanded its network in Devon through a variety of impactful projects, effectively identifying client needs and exploring opportunities in the region. The collaboration within the cohort has proven hugely valuable, offering insights that have greatly enhanced their pitches, and investment strategies, as well as refining their elevator pitch. While they aren’t ready to pitch for investment just yet, they are diligently working towards that goal, planning to revisit it once they’ve built a stronger presence and track record in the UK.
The future focus will be on collaborating with larger partners to boost visibility and enhance the impact of the studio. The aim is to increase online retail sales and expand audience reach, making their work accessible to more people than ever before. Beyond this, Szabotage is excited to secure exhibitions in prominent London galleries, which will showcase their art and engage with the community. There are also plans to launch a new range of prints stemming from their recent tour, further diversifying their offerings. Finally, they are dedicated to planning a mural and art tour that will allow them to connect with audiences in various locations, bringing their art to life in new and inspiring ways. Szabotage also intends to apply for the Heritage Grant Fund in January.
“The Create Growth Programme has enabled us to connect with businesses and individuals as well as helping establish our offering within the UK. The workshops offer great opportunities for learning and development.” Gustav Szabo, Founder
