Marketing Guidance – Support Programmes

At Creative UK, we believe that talent is everywhere, but opportunity is not. That’s why we build programmes with our regional partners to create opportunities for talent across the country to grow and thrive.

Creative UK are delighted to be supporting you on your journey and we would love for you credit the support you have received from us and share your experience. Crediting Creative UK will help the programme reach a wider audience and allow us to help other businesses like yours and ultimately bring more investment into the region. Sharing your experience will also help us to promote your business to our networks across the country. Below is some guidance with the best ways of doing this:

Crediting Creative UK

When referring to a Creative UK programme in public, the following guidance must be followed to ensure you are correctly communicating about the programme and crediting the appropriate parties:

  1. When creating anything which doesn’t have a character limited (a blog post, a press article, a website post etc), please include the programme boilerplate which is listed below
  2. When posting on social media, please use the handles for Creative UK plus the partners associated with the programme listed in the boilerplates
  3. If possible, display programme logo on your website
  4. If you would like to include a click through to the programme, use this links in the boilerplates

If you receive any financial support from Creative UK (in the form of grant, loan or equity investment) you are required to display a written acknowledgment of the programme on your website and prominently display the programme boilerplate and logo. Full details of this requirement will be written in your contract.

Announcement Timeline

Please do not announce the support received from Creative UK without written permission, such permission not to be unreasonably delayed or withheld. If you are planning on any press activity around your support, please keep us in the loop so we can join up our announcements and maximise engagement.
